New Concept for some of the Blogs!
So David McGirl, here in the TOC/OWA administrative office, suggested I consider asking people around the state what is happening in their communities regarding workforce development. I thought it was a great idea! The blog is called Field Notes, after all - let's find out what's happening out in the field! It seems like a good tool for presenting information about workforce development in the TOC/OWA region as well as a chance to learn more about what is happening across the state.
I'm hoping we can cover what is going on in the community, what is being working on, what is creating challenges and what is going very well. I'm looking forward to seeing what we learn.
First up is Kathy Cancilla in Canyon City, Grant County. This is in Eastern Oregon, about 3 hours east (and a little north) of Bend. She very, very kindly offered to write something up for me.
