Drove out to Astoria for a Quality Assurance Review for Region 1. The weather is incredible!
Had a couple of meetings where we talked about data migration, integration between MTC Works and OED in Region 1, policy changes, the use (and usefulness) of mandated skills tests, the use and usefulness of the Menu of Resources & Services and why it appears that IDs might not have been verified when they have been. Their take on these issues, in order: imperfect, quite good, delayed implementation, regular and questionable, limited and questionable and a weird glitch. I also worked on youth file reviews. The weather, however, is amazing.
