Visit to Klamath Falls.
Drove down to Klamath Falls last night. Was a pleasant drive, although long - I’m very glad to have my ipod to plug into the car stereo! Today, I talked to Perry Andrews, the Training Programs Manager for COIC in Klamath Falls, about integrated services (a “challenge,” but going well), did a handful of Klamath Falls youth file reviews (lots of good communication!) and made several site visits (which is probably the best part). Here is a picture of a couple of the kids in a Summer Work Experience:

One of the other site visits was to REACH, Inc. REACH stands for Rehabilitation, Employment and Community Housing – it’s a company that employs handicapped members of the community in producing wood products, mostly for Jeld-Wen. They are trying to expand their business, since wood products industries have hit such a rough patch, to keep their clients/employees employed.
Something around here has seriously affected my allergies in an adverse manner!
