The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), signed into law by President Obama on February 17, 2009, provides money for vocational and job training and employment services. TOC received over $7.5 million to provide training, employment and re-employment services to Adults, Dislocated Workers and Youth across TOC/OWAs 24 county area. This dashboard was created to illustrate the progress toward the completion of service provision of ARRA funds. Note: The Dashboard works best in Firefox and requires Flash Player 9.0 or higher.
ARRA Definitions:
Target Investments: Target expenditure for the period based on a straight line projection for
investment of ARRA funds.
Actual Investments: ARRA funds paid out for training, employment and re-employment services through
the period.
Adult: A low income customer who is 18 and in need of services to find employment or obtain
employment that allows for self-sufficiency.
DLW: A laid off customer or customer who has received notice of layoff, displaced homemaker or
former self employed person unemployed due to economy.
Youth: A low income customer who is age 14 through 24 with one additional barrier.
